Manish Dalia, PE, Vice President

Manish Dalia joined Luk + Associates in January 2013 as a project manager, bringing his technical skills and project management experience from large projects he worked on in the Bay Area.  Manish is a licensed civil engineer and stormwater QSP/QSD certified.  He is responsible for conducting feasibility studies, producing engineering drawings, specifications, calculations, coordinating with the project team and City, and tracking budgets and resourcing for projects.

Manish’s most recently completed project is the Apple Campus 2 Project in Cupertino.  He has supported this project since 2010 while at Arup, and since 2013 with Luk + Associates. Prior to working at Luk + Associates, Manish worked at Arup from 2006 to 2013 in San Francisco’s infrastructure group.  The Apple Campus 2 is a multidisciplinary project with multiple sites totaling 3.5 million square feet on over 175 acres serving approximately 14,000 employees.   Manish managed multiple design and survey scopes for this project, including civil engineering design for roadways, utilities, grading, stormwater treatment, streetscape, site coordination and 3D modelling. 

 

Manish is a consultant to Apple, providing external coordination with the City, utility agencies, for the design of the site parcels and streetscape improvement work.  This work has involved coordination with the architect, landscape architect, cost consultants, General Contractor, client, utility agencies, and the City of Cupertino.  Manish has been actively involved in early concept studies, planning/engineering design packages for the City, Environmental Impact Report/CEQA approval, and construction administration.       

Manish earned a BS in Civil Engineering from UC Berkeley, is a Registered Civil Engineer (California #74106), is stormwater QSP/QSD certified and is LEED AP accredited.
